Features: Seven Ash, Western, 1970s

Published 5 September 2017, 16:04

Steve Pike's 'OO' gauge BR Western Region Diesel Depot is based on the turntable stabling point at Old Oak Common in London during the 1970s and features plenty of appropriate motive power - predominantly Western Region diesel hydraulic locomotives.

At 9ft x 7ft, this Digital Command Controlled (DCC) layout boasts a roster of 50 'OO' diesel locomotives from the period, all of which have been renumbered, weathered and detailed.

Look out for Seven Ash in a future issue of Hornby Magazine.
