Features: Rannoch, Scottish, 2000s

Published 9 March 2017, 12:01

Rannoch takes inspiration from the remote location on the West Highland Line in Scotland, set in the post-2005 privatisation era.

Digital Command Controlled, Mark Darragh's impressive recreation of this isolated station measures just 10ft x 6ft and includes working Radio Electronic Token Block (RETB) signalling boards, a stunning viaduct and impressive station building with detailed interior too.

Passenger and freight services include ScotRail's Caledonian sleeper service, timber, engineers' and fuel tanks together with an occasional steam-hauled special.

Rannoch featured in HM112.
