Published 29 September 2016, 09:11

Discount advance ticket sales for the Great Electric Train Show close this Friday ahead of the exhibition on the weekend of October 8/9.

The show promises more than 25 quality model railways, 30 trader stands and a group of demonstrators in the skills zone. Plus entry to the show includes freedom of the recently refurbished British Motor Museum and access to the free courtesy bus which will be running between Leamington Spa railway station and the event on Saturday October 8 only.

Advance tickets are on sale now offering up to £5 discount over on the day prices. Plus they offer early entry to the show at 9.30am – 30 minutes before full opening of the events.

Highlight layouts at this year’s event include the Soar Valley Model Railway Club’s ‘O’ gauge Charnwood Forest Branch (HM99/HM100), Bodmin and District MRC’s Old Elms Road (HM105), Max Fowler’s Maxwell Colliery (HM105), Allan Cromarty’s Oulton TMD, the debut of Hornby Magazine’s ‘N’ gauge project layout Barrenthorpe and many more.
